The cure was ten years away in 1980 also (when I received diabetes)

I'm disgusted with this hype which shows up daily in newspapers. 1. There will never be enough human cadaver islets for transplantion. 2. toxic immunosuppression is required when being transplanted with these islets . 3. Most islet recipients have rejected several years out and are back on insulin. This is NOT A CURE whatsoever.
